La Mère Poulard is a famous Chef and she opened her Inn at Mont-Saint-Michel in 1888. During fifty years she proved to be a creative Chef and created the famous Mère Poulard omelette cooked over a wood fire.
But, the famous Chef was also famous for its delicious biscuits including traditional galette she distributed to the children of the pilgrims of Mont-Saint-Michel. For over a century, biscuits production was limited to the La Mère Poulard inn, then developed around Mont-Saint-Michel, to finally extend nationally and internationally with the creation of "Biscuiterie Mère Poulard".
La Mère Poulard biscuits are made from carefully selected ingredients using traditional recipes created by the famous chef, La Mère Poulard. Tradtional biscuits are made with quality control all along the production process, with high quality and regional ingredients, without coloring stuff and no preservatives.
